Initial appointment
I allow 90 minutes for an initial appointment, whereas a follow up consultation could take up to an hour and is normally held within three to six weeks of the former.
The prescription
As every symptom is considered an expression of the unbalanced body, the whole person is taken into account when prescribing.
Homeopathic remedies are prescribed according to the principle that "like cures like", which is described in more detail on the homeopathy page.
If there is a history of longstanding chronic illness, several successive medicines may be needed during the course of weeks, months or years.
